What is the difference between DM and DI water?+
DM (demineralised) typically refers to two-bed ion-exchange water with conductivity < 10 µS/cm. DI (deionised) usually refers to higher-purity mixed-bed or CEDI water with resistivity up to 18 MΩ·cm.
Do DI plants need RO pre-treatment?+
Yes — most high-purity DI trains require RO or DM upstream to protect resin and CEDI membranes from fouling and scaling.
